Physicist
Natalia is a patent attorney trainee at Maiwald. During her time as a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics she worked with application of perturbation methods for development of accurate reduced models for plasma turbulence also permitting accurate numerical simulations of nuclear fusion. As a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich, she developed and taught specialist courses for PhD students and acted as co-supervisor for doctoral theses.
She was recruited by the Mathematical Science Research Institute of the University of Berkeley, California as an international expert in the field of theoretical nuclear fusion. Natalia regularly published her scientific work in high-impact journals, such as Computer Physics Communications and Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion. She has also acted as referee for these journals.
