In 2009 Fritz merged the entire chemistry/pharma department of his former practice with Maiwald, where he now acts in a consultancy capacity.

Fritz acted in many cases involving landmark decisions of different judicial bodies (e.g. Federal Supreme Court, European Boards of Appeal). He has many years of experience in prosecuting and enforcing intellectual property rights, with particular focus on nullity proceedings and the preparation of expert opinions.
