IP for IP is organising the 12th PAFA Conference in Düsseldorf from 23 to 25 November. On November 25, Susanne Ferstl will give on-site presentations on EUIPO pitfalls and the use of trade marks worldwide.

8:30 to 10:00 am: EU design – practical case studies

• What needs to be considered with EU designs
• Which mistakes should be avoided

1:00 to 2:30 pm: Use of trade marks

• Declarations of use in various countries
• Calculation of grace periods, e.g. for international registrations
• Particularities in case of non-use (automatic cancellation etc.)
