Gabriel Kiefl is currently a patent attorney trainee at Maiwald. His work is primarily focused on intellectual property protection in the fields of organic chemistry and polymers.

His doctoral studies mainly concerned hypervalent iodanes and their application as oxidative mediators in the α-functionalisation of ketones. During his research, he acquired broad expertise in the field of organic synthesis and method development.

Gabriel Kiefl is first author and co-author of several scientific publications in the fields of organometallic and organic chemistry. He has presented a number of his research results at international conferences in, among other places, England.
