Senior European Patent Attorney Trainee

Christian works with companies of all sizes, from start-ups to major corporations in securing, defending and enforcing clients’ intellectual property rights as well as in challenging intellectual property rights of third parties in Germany, Europe and worldwide. In addition to application proceedings at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office, Christian conducts opposition and appeal proceedings before the various tribunals. He also prepares expert opinions on freedom-to-operate, validity and infringement issues. For more than 10 years, Christian has held regular lectures for entrepreneurs and students as part of his ongoing teaching assignment at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
As a technology-embracing electrical engineer, he primarily advises businesses in the fields of communications and information technology, general electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.
Thanks to his many and varied activities with medium-sized and large industrial companies, Christian also brings with him practical and in-depth knowledge of IP strategy development and innovation management.
