Daniel Baier is a trainee patent attorney at Maiwald. His work focuses on the protection of intellectual property in the fields of automotive engineering and mechanical and plant engineering.

As a research assistant while carrying out his doctoral studies he worked in the area of additive manufacturing technologies for industrial application. Daniel Baier is first and co-author of several scientific publications in the field. He has presented some of his research results at national and international conferences, including in Switzerland and the USA.
